A NORTHERN IRELAND couple are giving newlyweds a viral alternative to the usual, watched-once-a-decade wedding video – the Marryoke.
Antrim-based Katie and Billy May thought why not spruce up your average, quaint wedding ceremony with a touch of fun-fuelled fabulousness?
And so they conceived Marryokes - a company devoted to producing high energy wedding videos – giving the newly-betrothed a chance to share their special day with quite literally thousands-upon-thousands of others.
One couple to take the plunge recently were Rebecca McVeigh and Matt Richards from London.

Their recital of Bonnie Tyler’s Holding Out for a Hero has already racked up an impressive number of hits on YouTube.
Marryoke Co-founder Katie May could not be more delighted with the internet's admiration for their videos.
“I would say at nearly every wedding we get asked, is this your full time job? It’s such a pleasure to be able to say ‘yes’,” she said.
The chosen song is crucial to the Marryoke vibe. So which is most popular among those newlyweds looking to boogie?
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Bruno Mars’ Marry You is the most popular choice.
On the flip side, the Black Eyed Peas’ songs tend to be a little too lengthy to keep things snappy.
“We have the good fortune to travel all over the world capturing Marryokes," explained Katie. “And we have Greece and Switzerland coming up next month!”
“Billy and I do this full time and we love it. We got married 11 years ago, and if you can believe it we didn’t have a video or a professional photographer!”
How times change.
