IRISH kids say the darndest things.
We can think of no better recent example of the aforementioned phrase than an Irish schoolboy’s reaction to being asked: “Who is the President of Ireland?”
In a classroom test, the pupil hilariously answered: "Miggeldy Higens".
That’s kid-speak for Michael D. Higgins, of course.

A Twitter user shared a picture of the test online yesterday, along with the caption: "Lads I'm f***ing howling my neighbour is a primary school teacher and just put this on his Insta story.... Miggeldy Higens."
She added: "For anybody that isn't Irish and doesn't know, our President's name is Michael D. Higgins. Now known as Miggeldy Higens. I don't make the rules. Aw stop I actually love kids they're so funny."
Unsurprisingly, the little lad’s utterly brilliant answer quickly went viral – with over 700 shares and thousands more likes in less than 24 hours.
Miggeldy Higens, eh? What next – Jay Eff Kay?
