Limerick girl's Halloween costume is wonderfully Irish

IF you're one of the hundreds of people who leave their Halloween costume to the absolute last minute and are in dire need of an idea for a costume, please read on.

Halloween is a joyous time of year where people of all ages come together to dress up, be it in costumes that are terrifying, hilarious or downright silly.

We've seen numerous brilliant costumes through the years, such as Nadine Coyle's passport, Teresa Mannion and indeed, this boy who dressed up as his older sister on her Communion day.

The latest brilliant Halloween costume to have caught our eyes is an outfit from Limerick girl Lauren, the daughter of Irish Post reader Lauren Doran.

Lauren's Halloween costume is truly like no other we've seen before, as it serves as quite a topical outfit considering the recent bout of bad weather in Ireland the last few weeks.

The Limerick resident even went to the effort of painting her face to match her outfit - and how amazing does she look!

If there's one good thing to come from Storm Ophelia - it's Lauren's outfit.
