IT WAS party time at the Auction House in Luton as the Claddagh Gaels ladies Gaelic football club rounded off another successful season.
Over 200 guests attended the gala dinner and presentation evening with the party going on into the early hours, with dancing to The Craicheads and DJ Pierce Kelly.
The 2016 season saw the team finish runners up in the Glo-Herts league and finalists in the Joe Fryday Shield and it was also a great second season for the Claddagh Youths, who competed in a number of tournaments.

Kira Magee - Special Recognition Award
Sophie McCafferty - Manager's Player
Maria Sexton - Club Person of the Year
Natalie Flynn - Players' Player
Alex Brennan - Minor Player of the Year
Fiona Hart - Most Improved
Special thanks was paid to a number of club sponsors and supporters during the evening, including team Manager Bill Barrett and club sponsor and President Martin Maloney, both of whom are from Mayo.
Plans are underway for a Claddagh Gaels tour to Belmullet in Mayo next year.
