DUBLIN Simon Community, an Irish homeless charity, has shared a beautiful note they received with a donation from a thoughtful and generous young girl.
Seven-year-old Linnet donated €5 to the charity along with a note explaining that the money was "to help people with no homes".
The charity provide support services and emergency accommodation to help prevent homelessness in the Irish capital.
Linnet told them: "Hi, my name is Linnet. I am 7.
"Here is some money to help people with no homes. I’m glad that they are getting money with the help of some people.
"Thanks for helping them sorry if a fiver isn’t much help."
Dublin Simon Community were quick to reassure Linnet that her kindly donated fiver would in fact make a difference in the life of a homeless person.
"The generosity and support of our donors allows us to make a huge impact in the lives of people experiencing homelessness," they wrote on Facebook.
"Thank you Linnet for thinking of the Dublin Simon Community.
"Linnet's kindness will allow us to make a real difference in a person's life, we'll be able to help find them a place to call home."
Well done Linnet!
