A SURVEY of app users around the world asked which global cities are least and most ‘sexual’ – and the results don’t look too good for Ireland.
Lazevva – which describes itself as a ‘sex positive’ app – asked people who lived in each city to rank their hometown out of ten in the following areas:
Sexual Experimentation, Sexually Satisfied, Sexually Active, Sex Toy Consumption, Porn Consumption, Adult Entertainment, Swinger Score, Access To Contraception, LGBT Friendliness and Gender Equality.
Dublin came in 61st place out of the 100 cities ranked – but Cork came out worst (yes – last on Earth) to be voted the ‘least sexual’ city in the entire world.
The ten least sexual cities in the world, according to Lazevva, are as follows...
1. Cork - Ireland
2. Bratislava - Slovakia
3. Belgrade - Serbia
4. Graz - Austria
5. Linz - Austria
6. Salzberg - Austria
7. Toyko - Japan
8. Milan - Italy
9. Hannover – Germany
10. Chennai – India
Given that Japan has the second lowest birth rate on Earth (behind only Monaco), it’s pretty good going from the rebel city to come out bottom.
According to the survey, the most searched pornographic term in both Cork and Dublin is “Lesbian” – so make of that what you will.
Meanwhile, no prizes for guessing up which city was voted the most sexual of all (it wasn't London) though the UK did pretty well.
