BEHIND many Irish stars is an Irish mammy and a host of famous faces were keen to sing the praises of their mothers today.

The likes of Liam Gallagher has always been quick to praise his Mayo mammy Peggy, but he wasn't the only star paying tribute this Mother's Day.
