THE entire county of Mayo was awash in green and red leading up to the All-Ireland replay on Saturday.
And while the result may not have gone the west of Ireland county's way, two Mayo brothers are determined to keep spirits high.
Newport butchers, Seán and Seamus Kelly lent their support in the form of red and green sausages, which went on display in their shop at the weekend.
“Don’t worry,” Seán said. "They’re edible all right but I’m not sure they’re on the Mayo team’s breakfast menu.
"As to what’s in them, well I could tell you the recipe, but I’d hate any harm to come to you,” he joked.
Family-run Kelly's was first founded over 80 years ago by Seán and Seamus' father Dominic.
And though the recipe for their green and reds remains a closely-guarded family secret, you'll find some of their more regular breakfast sausages in stores across London.
