DANCING feet will be getting a well-deserved break now the World Irish Dancing Championships have come to an end.
Hundreds of talented dancers from all across Britain were in Montreal, Canada, tapping out their best moves on the dancefloor as they competed for the top prizes.
Alliyah O'Hare from Birmingham took home the top prize in the Girls 11-12 age group, while Joseph McGeown, representing the Southern England region, topped the Boys 14-15 group.
Nadine Martin from Doherty School in the Midlands was crowned the Ladies Over 21 Champion, with Sinéad Malone from Scotland hot on her heels claiming gold in the 20-21 age group.
Two groups from Britain also danced their way to victory - in the Senior Céilí Over 19 Ladies and the Senior Mixed Céilí Over 16 categories.
