IRISH singing legend Daniel O’Donnell can count millions of devoted super-fans across the world, but perhaps not in his own home.
O’Donnell appeared on ITV’s Loose Women recently with his wife Majella, to discuss her cancer battle, their marriage and his upcoming world tour.
But Majella wasn’t exactly chomping at the bit to catch her husband in action come October.
“If he’s going away for a long time to Australia or America, then I might go out for a couple of weeks.”
Cue laughs from the audience, but Majella wasn’t finished there.
Asked if she listened to Daniel’s music, Majella revealed that she wasn’t exactly a super-fan.
“I like some of his music. Let’s just say, before I met him I had never seen him in concert.

“It wasn’t the kind of music that I listened to, I’m only being honest. But now I just think it’s fantastic”.
A rather red-faced Daniel was quick to spare his own blushes.
“Sometimes it’s so nice to tell a lie,” he joked.
Daniel O’Donnell’s world tour kicks off on October 20 in North Dakota, concluding in New Zealand in March.
