A BIG CAT was let out of the bag this morning when a tiger was spotted lying on a footpath in West Belfast.
Passing motorists were alarmed to see the beast lying casually on the pavement in Anderstown, Co. Antrim without a care in the world.
Initially scared stiff, baffled local residents realised on closer inspection that the large creature was actually a very, very convincing stuffed teddy.
They must have been roaring with laughter.
An image of the paper tiger (ba-dum-tsh) was shared on Facebook by a member of the Holy Trinity Boxing Club, who told Belfast Live: “I spotted it in Andersonstown this morning, I thought it was real until I got close and realised it was a big teddy bear.
“I just posted the picture for a bit of craic.”
The Celtic Tiger is back!
