DUBLINERS will be delighted to hear that they have the privilege of being in one of the best shopping cities in the world.
The Irish capital was voted fifth of 24 global shopping destinations in a recent poll by readers of Conde Nast Traveller.
It beat famous shopping cities such as London, which was ranked a disappointing 17th, Paris and New York.
Trendy Barcelona secured the number one spot, ahead of Philadelphia and Hong Kong in second and third.
Only eight cities in the list are European.
Conde Nast points out Dublin’s Creative Quarter ‘bursting with artsy stores and cafes’ as a recommended area to visit.
