THE CAST of The Big Bang Theory have sent a heartfelt message of support to a brave Dublin boy fighting terminal cancer.
Four-year-old Oscar Keogh is battling a rare type of brain tumour called Diffuse intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).
Only 10% of children diagnosed with the cancer survive more than two years because it can’t be treated or operated on.
Oscar, who was diagnosed with DIPG back in January, is a huge fan of The Big Bang Theory, so his mother Yavanna decided to reach out to the cast with a special request for her brave son.
She contacted Melissa Rauch, who plays Bernadette on the show, to explain her son’s situation and his love for the hit sitcom.
When she first got in touch, Yavanna was hoping to get an autograph or two from the cast.
But they decided to go one better.
Instead, she was sent an autograph along with three videos featuring the stars of The Big Bang Theory offering kind words of support for Oscar.
One of the videos even featured the entire cast declaring their love for the young fan during what is a difficult time.
It was a response that left Yavanna and Oscar over the moon.
"Oscar has some new friends!! We’re all crying with happiness,” Yavanna wrote in an emotional Instagram post featuring one of the videos from the cast.
“Thank you SO much to the incredible Melissa Rauch who saw our message last week explaining that Oscar was obsessed with Big Bang Theory and absolutely in love with her character Bernadette.
"We asked for an autograph, she kindly offered to do a video and even took the time to read our blog post. She’s such an incredible person and sent us THREE videos including this one with all the cast (we’re keeping the other two just for us)!
"They’re all incredible and Oscar is OVER THE MOON!!! Magic can be real and this is proof!!"
