FOR the third day running residents of Belfast have awoken to a blanket of fog coating the city.
Flights to George Best City Airport from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester, Heathrow, Leeds Bradford and Liverpool were cancelled this morning as poor visibility caused travel chaos.
For those already in Belfast, the sight of the city enveloped in white mist was worth tweeting about.
People took to the social media site to share pictures of the fog from Stormont to the City Hall.
