IRELAND and Arsenal legend Liam Brady gave an unsuspecting football fan a day he’ll never forget by visiting him in hospital.
Gooner Martin Toomey was due to visit the Emirates Stadium in London for a Legend's Tour, where a former club player acts as the fans’ guide.
But when Mr Toomey was too unwell to make the trip, the Irish footballing icon decided to surprise him instead.
The emotional encounter is a truly heartwarming gesture from the Arsenal man and for Mr Toomey, it’ll no doubt be a day to remember.
