Voices speaking in the Irish language could be heard all over the London Irish Centre in Camden recently as a number of events took place on the same evening.
Conradh na Gaeilge hosted a well attended forum featuring a talk and information on the history of the Irish language in London, how to use Irish more and the campaign for an Irish Language Act.
On the same evening, the London Irish Centre's Irish language classes began after the summer break.
The two events were followed by a Pop-Up Gaeltacht, an increasingly popular movement where Gaeilgeoirs come together in all sorts of places to speak Irish over a few drinks.
The Pop-Up Gaeltacht, the fifth such event to take place in London, also featured traditional Irish music and dancing.
The Facebook group PopUp Gaeltacht LDN will have details of future events.
