THE Hibernian Society held its annual charity golf day at Calcot Park Golf Club in Reading.
The society was set up in 1994 by Anne Morris and her brother Seamus McAdden from Westmeath, with the aim of improving the quality of life of elderly members of the Irish community in the Reading area.
The charity runs a lunch club three days a week at the Reading Irish Centre, which has an average attendance of 50 people who enjoy great food, company, music and fun.
Over 80 golfers took to the fairways of Calcot Park, including a team from Ireland, and had a great day, as well as supporting the excellent work of the Hibernian Society.
