THE MAYO Association London held its annual dinner on Friday night which attracted a record attendance of over 500 guests to the Grange St Paul's hotel in the City of London.
Among those present were members of the Mayo senior football team who were warmly welcomed. Also in attendance was racehorse trainer and former jockey Richard Hughes.
The annual gathering of Mayo exiles has become something of a weekend event, with many of the guests staying on at the Grange St Paul's for an extra day to continue the fun and take in the sights of London.
The Mayo Association London, which has been in existence for over 50 years, is a voluntary benevolent society committed to giving a helping hand to those in need, anticipating changing social needs and driving innovative and effective responses to matters affecting it's community in London and back home in Mayo.
