PHOTOS… London picks it's Rose for Tralee

23 YEAR student old Emma Murphy-O'Connor has been chosen to represent London at the International Rose of Tralee festival in August.

Emma, whose ex London Irish rugby player father is from London and whose mother is from Galway, was one of 15 girls who took part in the Rose selection evening which took place at the Clayton Crown hotel in Cricklewood at the weekend.

She impressed the judges and the the 240 strong audience with her fine fiddle playing, tales from her gap year and her ambitions to train as a solicitor. Outgoing 2015 London Rose Aisling Hillary presented with Emma her sash after London Rose Centre Chairman Noel O'Sullivan announced her as the winner.
