IRISH designers put their best foot forward at last week's London Fashion Week.
Models wearing designs by Dubliners Paul Costello and Simone Rocha as well as Co Derry’s JW Anderson, hit the catwalk in the English capital during the week.
Costello showcased his trademark sense of style and fresh wearable designs, at Somerset House yesterday. His latest collection featured a selection of tailored suits and coats in pastel colours.
An established name in British fashion, Costello set up his own label in Ireland in 1979, opening a flagship London store in Knightsbridge in 1994.
Meanwhile Simone Rocha, daughter of designer John Rocha, showcased her ‘grandmother’ collection at the Tate Tank.
The 26-year-old kept to her signature style with a modern yet romantic collection.
JW Anderson, who has recently enjoyed commercial success with his Topshop collaborations, displayed his adventurous side with an unconventional collection featuring odd shapes and colour.
Celebrities Alexa Chung and Daisy Lowe were among those in the front row.
A rising star in the industry, Anderson, 29, won the Emerging Talent Award - Ready-to-Wear at the British Fashion Awards in 2012.
