MORE than £5,000 was raised for the ICAP charity in an auction held during their annual dinner event.
Friends, staff and supporters of the Immigrant Counselling and Psychotherapy organisation came out in their fineries for the event held at The Plaisterers’ Hall in London.
Guest speaker Fergal Keane reminded those gathered of the important work of the charity, before a bustling auction saw £5,500 raised for six items – including an Orla Kiely handbag and a rare set of Rock Legends stamps, featuring Rory Gallagher, U2, Van Morrison and Phil Lynott.
A silent auction was also held on the night, bumping up the funds raised, along with a raffle.
