THOUSANDS of people gathered in Huddersfield town centre to take in the sights and sounds of the annual St Patrick's parade.
Town Crier Vic Watson officially opened the parade before a drum roll and the procession set off from Huddersfield Irish Centre in Fitzwilliam Street and slowly made its way to Westgate before turning on to John William Street.
The gathered crowd enjoyed music from The Birmingham Pipe and Drum band and The Kilmyshall Set Dancers from Co. Wexford.
