GREAT fun and entertainment was had at Birmingham’s Irish Centre earlier this month as England’s second city crowned its Rose of Tralee entrant.
Beautiful Rhona McGarvey was the lucky girl to earn the title. The popular choice is known among the community as a member of local band Routes, which she performs in alongside her sister Niamh.
No doubt the whole community is right behind her as she dreams of an August night in Kerry should she make the Rose of Tralee finals.
