WATCH: Irishman reveals genius method for pouring the perfect Guinness at home

AN IRISHMAN on Twitter has become the toast of social media after showcasing his inspired method for turning a can of Guinness into a perfectly poured pint of the Irish stout.

With Ireland under strict lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic and pubs up and down the country closed as a result, pints of Guinness have proven hard to come by.

Though there are some off-licence services offering to deliver perfectly-poured pints in Dublin, most have had to make do with cans of the black stuff.

Cans may retain the same distinctive taste as a standard Guinness but there is something about the way it is poured in pubs that proves difficult to replicate at home.

Or, at least, that used to be the case.

Because things may be about to change thanks to one ingenious Irish Guinness drinker who has come up with a foolproof method for how to pull off the perfect pour.

Even better still, he’s filmed himself doing it for all the world to see.

The days of London bar tender-style pints with volumous heads could soon be a thing of the past thanks to this guy and his special technique which involved dunking the can, head first, into an empty pint glass.

Patience, of course, is essential when it comes to pulling off the perfect pour – but then that’s always been the case with any good Guinness, right?

Viewed more than 200,000 times already and shared a whopping 1,700 times already, this simple two-minute tutorial could be a real game changer for Guinness fans in Ireland and the world over.

One thing is for sure: it’s going to make lockdown that bit more palatable.
