Marmite Peanut Butter is coming to a supermarket near you

IN NEWS you are sure to either love or hate, Marmite Peanut Butter is being launched in the UK and Ireland next month.

A distinctive combination that probably shouldn’t work but definitely does, Marmite has confirmed that the new spread will be available via Ocado.com from Monday, March 25th.

The new Marmite Peanut Butter is then set to arrive on supermarket shelves on April 7th

Its arrival marks a major milestone for the yeast spread giant with Marmite Peanut Butter representing the first permanent product innovation to come out of the company since it was founded back in 1902.

According to Marmite, the new spread is arriving off the back of “overhwhelming demand” from Marmite-loving peanut butter enthusiasts.

Camilla Williamson, Brand Manager at Marmite, said in a statement: “The British public asked, and we listened. We’re delighted to bring the nation exactly what they’ve been craving with the creation of Marmite Peanut Butter.”

“It’s the most exciting product launch since the conception of the brand in 1902 and we’re confident that the nation is going to love it.”

The new Marmite Peanut Butter will initially be sold in 225 gram jars and will set customers back some €2.50.

It will initially be sold at Sainsbury’s before being rolled out to all the major supermarket retailers in the coming weeks and months.
