A SCOTTISH partygoer has regaled the internet with the amusing circumstances that saw him fall asleep on a sofa at a house party only to wake in an entirely different house come the morning.
Alcohol has been known to play tricks on the mind at the best of times, but this man’s story really does take some doing – not to mention copious amounts of alcohol on top.
First posted on the Facebook page Scottish Banter, the video sees an unnamed Scottish man described how he awoke the morning after the night before to find two strangers standing over him.
As the video explains in more amusing detail, it turned out he had left the party to get a taxi home.
However, when the taxi failed to materialise, he decided to return to the house party.
The only problem was, he ended up going into the wrong house.

After searching around for something to eat and attempting to make himself a Pot Noodle, the man went to sleep, waking to find himself in unfamiliar surroundings.
Thankfully everyone involved found the funny side, as he explains in the video.
"A couple woke me up going 'who are you?'. I'm like 'what are you talking about? I was here at the party last night'. And he went 'trust me man, there was no party here last night',” he said.
"I went to get a taxi last night. The taxi left and I came into the wrong house. I came in, got a cover and went to sleep. Instead of going back to the party I went into the house next door," he added.
Thankfully, the homeowners were welcoming enough to make the visibly hungover man a cup of tea and a cigarette before sending him on his way. They'll probably make sure they put the lock on next time too.
