Disney theme parks in the US are going vegan

ALL Disney theme parks in America will be fully equipped with vegan food options it's been announced today.

Every dining location throughout all of Disney's parks in the country will soon be able to offer vegan alternatives.

Over 400 dishes are due to be added to the menus at restaurants at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida and Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

The moves are set to place in the near future, with the park in Orlando seeing changes to the menu made as early as October, while California's Disneyland will see the changes made in spring 2020.

Overall, there are over 600 places around Disney's theme parks and their on-site hotels.

The parks will be introducing themed vegan option too, such as the Star Wars-inspired "Tatooine Two Suns Hummus" in Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, or "Le Fou Festin" at the Be Our Guest Restaurant at Disney's Magic Kingdom, also in Orlando.

There will also be "Carrot Gnocchi" at The Turf Club Bar and Grill at the Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and "Cauliflower Tacos" at The Wave of American Flavors at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

On the menus, each vegan option will be marked by a green leaf, so that guests don't struggle to find them - or if they're blinded by the delicious punnery at work.
