CONOR MCGREGOR says his soon-to-open Irish pub will “change the game” and become the “number one Irish pub” in Dublin.
The Notorious has been teasing fans ahead of the official reopening of The Black Forge Inn next month, following a major facelift.
McGregor first purchased the Drimnagh-based bar last year, with the venue undergoing a major revamp in the months since.
It is estimated he shelled out as much as €1 million on renovations on the pub, which served as the Irishman’s local when he was growing up.
The Black Forge Inn is due to open its doors to the public from July 5 and is promising to offer customers a “world class experience”.
The pub said on Twitter: "World Class Cocktails, In A World Class Venue, Using World Class Spirits - The Black Forge - A World Class Experience Coming Soon 05.07.21."
McGregor retweeted the post to his 8.7 million followers on Twitter.

The MMA icon also took to social media to promise the venue will serve "premium Irish beef, organic Irish butter, and proper Irish whiskey."
McGregor appears confident of the bar’s success, dubbing it "the number one Irish pub".
The Irishman splashed out close to €2m in 2020 for The Black Forge Inn.
However, due to its status as a “wet” pub that does not serve food, it has remained closed since last March, when the Covid-19 pandemic began.
Last December, a successful application was made by Jemi Ventures Ltd, the pub’s new operators, to transfer the venue’s alcohol licence.
Jemi Ventures Ltd is a company that includes Alan Geraghty as director and McGregor’s partner, Dee Devlin, as company secretary.

While the details of McGregor’s plans for the pub remain scarce, the venue looks set to reopen as a gastro pub.
That would likely see it offer a menu of familiar Irish fare alongside all the usual tipples.
Guinness will likely be on tap while you can be sure the pub will come fully stocked with bottles of McGregor’s signature Proper No Twelve whiskey.
