ST PATRICK’S Day is fast approaching and with revellers set to descend on Dublin it could pay to be in the know when it comes to finding the cheapest pint of Guinness on offer.
Fortunately, the good people over at The Sweatershop have put in the hard graft to work out the cheapest places to enjoy a hefty glass of the black stuff.
There’s a clear winner too with The Snug Bar on Stephen Street Upper coming out on top as the pub offering the cheapest pint of Guinness in Dublin.
A pint can be purchased for the palatable sum of just €3.70, which is decent going in the Irish capital.
The Portobello on South Richmond Street, Downey’s in Cabra and The Auld Triangle in Drumcondra all offer pints of Guinness at €4 a pop.
The Lark Inn, found close to the iconic Guinness Storehouse itself, sells Guinness at €4.10 a pint.
Dicey Reilly’s offers pints fo Guinness at €4.20 a go as does, The Yacht in Ringsend, Kavanagh's in Stoneybatter, The Bridge Tavern in Summerhill and The Clock in The Liberties.
By contrast, The Temple Bar pub topped the list for offering the most expensive pint of Guinness in Dublin at €6.90, with The Vat House a close second with Guinness on offer at €6.80 a pint.
