The new Cork Opera House Show will star World Champion Irish Dancer and choreographer Alan Kenefick and 22 other top Irish dancers, telling the story of "the evolution of Irish dance".

The evocative trailer shows off Kenefick's ground breaking choreography and style, danced to a soundtrack of Paolo Nutini's Iron Sky. The live show will fuse electronic dance music with traditional music.

Opening in summer 2016, Cork's 160-year-old Opera House is calling it their "biggest and most ambitious summer show yet".

Kenefick has performed in front of over 80,000 alongside the Lord of the Dance himself Michael Flatley, and The Chieftains and has performed as lead dancer in touring productions worldwide including Magic of the Dance, Ragús and Riverdance.

In 2012 ProdiJIG came to national attention when they won Sky’s Got To Dance.

The show will open on July 23 2016 and tickets for ProdiJIG: The Revolution, which will initially run for two weeks, will go on sale next Thursday Dec 10th 2015 at 10am. See www.corkoperahouse.ie or call Cork Opera House Box Office on 021 4270022 for details.
