FOLLOWING the January launch of Jape's new album This Chemical Sea, the Dubliner (real name Richie Egan) has released a video for the single Seance of Light.
This Chemical Sea is the fifth studio album release from the Crumlin man who is now based in Sweden.
The video for Seance of Light is inspired by a short story called Bleached written by Dublin based writer and actor Dave Rudden.
Up-and-coming Irish talent Dave Tynan, who directed the video said: "If you'd asked me who would I like to make my first music video for, my answer would have been Jape. So for that to happen makes me feel very lucky. I wanted it to be a Dublin story and Richie was up for that too."
He continued: "I'm massively grateful Dave [Rudden] let us mutate his words into something else. We'd an added bonus that Richie was as open minded as he was. Just a really nice collaboration across the whole thing. "
