THE EUROVISION Song Contest has released a behind-the-scenes video showing Ireland's entrant Brooke Scullion rehearsing ahead of her performance next week.
In the video Scullion (23), from Bellaghy in Derry, is followed around as she prepares for her slot which is scheduled for Thursday 12 May.
Her song 'That's Rich' is currently in 32nd place to win the competition according to www.eurovisionworld.com odds.
In the video, she speaks about how she first wanted to represent Ireland:
"I remember watching the TV and we were sitting in Portrush for a weekend away and I remember thinking 'how do people get on the TV? How do you end up representing your country?'
"And now Ireland are here, we have arrived and I am the representative! This is mental I swear! It's so crazy driving through and seeing the banners and I don't know what to expect."
Brooke then heads on stage for her first rehearsal which lasts 30 minutes and gives performers the chance to perform three times.
Following the performance, she goes back stage to have a look at the footage to check areas for improvement, however this is all done behind closed doors.
