THERE are few places more beautiful than Ireland on a crisp sunny day, and sometimes it's only when we go abroad that we realise just how many wondrous landmarks we have at home.
When Brian Cashin and his fiancée Hazel Coogan returned from Canada after two years, they realised how little they had seen of their home country.
Having worked as a TV editor in Canada, Brian was more than capable of filming their travels around Ireland. While experimenting with a feature on his iPhone 6, he discovered the best way to capture their travel memories: slow motion heel clicks.
The couple spent a year and a half on and off travelling to and exploring some iconic Irish landmarks and, having finally finished their expedition, managed to edit the video together.
The Dundalk native found a lot of the locations resonated with him as he had never seen them before, but Croagh Patrick stood out. "Croagh Patrick was quite an achievement, and I wouldn't be great for the exercise but we climbed the entire mountain to get that shot."
We bet you've seen a lot of videos about Irish landmarks, but we doubt you've seen one like this.
