THE HELLSITE that is Twitter usually makes the news because of some pseudo-celebrity or politician talking absolute shite, but every so often something wonderful can come from it too.
(Like that time a bunch of Irish people on the site came together-- excuse the pun-- to buy a Victorian-era dildo which they believed deserved to be in a museum.)
Today the hashtag #MyPetIn5Words started trending worldwide, and people took the opportunity to show off their pets to social media users-- but when do we ever really need an excuse?
The tag was flooded with photos of people's adorable pets. Some funny, some sad, and some downright weird-- but all absolutely fantastic.
Here's what we learned from the informative thread.

Everyone knows that older puppies are the best type of puppies.
Just like how everyone agrees their cats are demons-- but we love them anyway.
