A TRIO of works by Samuel Beckett has opened at a theatre in Islington in London.
Act Without Words I, Catastrophe and Rough for Theatre II are playing back-to-back at the Old Red Lion Theatre.
Theatre company Whispering Beasts are behind the works, which are charged with the Irish dramatist's unique blend of pathos and humour.
The three shorts plays, which are rarely performed, run until April 25.
Performances will take place Tues-Sats at 7.30pm, with matinees on Thursday (3pm), Saturday (3pm) and Sunday (2pm) respectively.
