IRISH soprano Lucy O'Byrne, who wowed will.i.am on The Voice UK, has signed with a major music management company in London.
The classically-trained singer from Dublin, who is living in London, managed to finish second in series four of the BBC programme - making it all the way to the grand final on April 4 with a series of stellar performances.
Her stunning voice made two of the four coaches turn their chairs during her blind audition, but it was will.i.am who would go on to coach her to the final, rather than fellow celebrity judge Rita Ora.
Despite ultimately losing out to 2015 The Voice winner Stevie McCrorie, this week 23-year-old Lucy announced that she had signed with Big Life Management.
Revealing her news to fans via Twitter, the singer claimed she “can’t wait to start making music”.
Based in north west London, Big Life Management has worked with many major acts, including The Scissor Sisters and Snow Patrol.
Lucy is also set to take to the stage at the Sounds in the Grounds festival at Warwick Castle in July, where she will join The Voice coach Ricky Wilson, who will perform with his band Kaiser Chiefs at the festival.
