THE Pogues have announced a special summer show as part of the Forest Live concert series.
The Irish legends will play Thetford Forest in Suffolk on Saturday, June 14 and are one of a number of acts who have been announced for the series, which takes place annually in various beautiful woodland settings across the country.
Renowned for their hybrid of folk, punk and rock, The Pogues – led by frontman Shane MacGowan - established themselves on the British music scene with a string of classic albums including Rum, Sodomy & The Lash, If I Should Fall From Grace With God and Peace and Love.
The Thetford Forest show will be their first appearance in the East Anglian region in well over a decade.
