The Harlem Café in Belfast's Donald Trump sandwich is attracting plenty attention

THE Harlem Café in Belfast has come up with a Presidential election special - the 'Trump Sandwich'.

The bustling eatery on Bedford Street has created the popular lunch special using: "white bread, boloney, Russian dressing and a small pickle."

Priced at £9.50, owner Faye McFarland told The Irish News it's a "filling sandwich."

"Basically we put together a very, very filling sandwich, basically a steak sandwich, but we gave it the name the Trump sandwich," owner Faye McFarland explained.

"It's to catch people's eyes, it's to make people smile," she said, "Forget the intensity that's going on at the moment just smile about it."

"And the little pickle?" she added, "Well that was just to spice things up."

The Harlem Café has gained a social media following for their humorous chalk board signs in the past.

The Café went viral earlier this month for their chalkboard, which read, 'Come taste the worst salad one woman on TripAdvisor ever had in her life!'
