GRAMMY nominee Sharon Corr has announced a September UK tour that will follow the release of her new solo album.
The tour will embark from Inverness to London and will feature songs from her upcoming album The Same Sun, and a selection from her vast back catalogue.
The eight dates announced for Corr’s second tour as a solo artist will conclude the September release of the record.
The singer/songwriter and violinist from the illustrious group The Corrs spoke of her delight about the upcoming tour, and said: “I'm really excited to be touring again in the UK.”
Sharon also spoke of her eternal love for music, and added: “When The Corrs stopped, I knew I had so much more to do. I never wanted to stop singing, writing and performing, and achieving more as a musician.”

Labelling music “magic”, Corr never one to shy away from the limelight also starred as a judge on popular TV show The Voice of Ireland.
