Rapper and The Wire actor Fredro Starr gives out on RTÉ after being stranded in Ireland

WEATHER is a great leveller. The elements can hinder us all, from the average person trying to get to work to celebrities jetting around the world.

Rapper and actor Fredro Starr knows that all too well, after being affected by the chaos caused by the Beast from the East.

The actor from The Wire was among stranded passengers interviewed by RTÉ at Dublin Airport on Thursday.

“We’re stuck here for two days,” he told the broadcaster. “I love Ireland, but I’m trying to get out of here!”

Starr, who was trying to get from Chicago to Prague to perform with his group Onyx, posted footage of his RTÉ interview to his Twitter account, detailing his travel nightmare.

In the full interview, he also told RTÉ: “I stayed in the airport, we slept in McDonalds! Shout out to Mickey Ds.

“We saw a lot of good people, we was drinking, Guinnessed out and all of that stuff.”

Starr has now found himself a hotel and hopes to fly out on Saturday, however he wasn’t short of offers to put him up.
