PRIMARK have released their collection for winter 2013, and judging by the images the Scottish Highlands have significantly influenced this season’s fashion.
Famed for being an affordable alternative to high-end fashion brands, Primark’s outfits are welcomed for being purse-friendly.
The new campaign remains true to its cause by delivering an inexpensive and on-trend collection - a £13 baroque inspired midi dress and £1.50 chunky gold pyramid ring will no doubt be a hit with the brand’s loyal customers.
With additional offerings of beautiful lace and minimalist monochrome you could be forgiven for mistaking Primark’s latest delivery as having arrived straight from the catwalk during Fashion Week.
Studded boots, statement necklaces and crushed velvet also create an alternative dark and Goth style look.
‘Highland Grunge’ is one of the standout themes, with plenty of classic tartan, tweed and vintage prints showcasing the heavy Scottish influence on autumn’s clothes.
Tartan is spread across the collection, combining with denim and faux leather in several pieces to create a some of the season’s must-have outfits.
For men there is a £28 ‘value tux’, shirt not included, and Fair Isle knit-wear that will certainly prove popular in the colder months.
