Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan was forced to deny claims he starred as the 'Pigeon Lady' in Home Alone 2 after viewers pointed out major similarities in their appearances.
It's not the first time the GMB host has been compared to the 'Pigeon Lady'-- also known as multi-award-winning Irish actress Brenda Fricker, the first Irish woman to ever win an Oscar thanks to her incredible work in My Left Foot.
For several years now, jokers on social media have compared the two, and in 2018 Morgan good-naturedly allowed a pigeon to sit on his head in the studio after his own son pointed out he looked like the Home Alone character.
Yesterday morning the debate began again, when Morgan's co-host Susanna Reid said she had "evidence" he had appeared in the film.
"Lots of people watch Home Alone 2 and wonder if this is you," she said, before a side-by-side comparison of two appeared on screen.
"That's not me!" Morgan exclaimed-- but his argument wasn't helped when Reid produced her "evidence": the image of Morgan surrounded by pigeons in 2018.
Techs and producers in the studio could be heard howling with laughter as Morgan continued to deny his appearance in Home Alone 2, with co-host Reid joking "I think it's your best role, actually."
