1. Consider this exhibit A.
Mary Pflum Peterson is a writer, TV journalist, and mother of four. In 2015, she wrote a feature for The Huffington Post describing how she and her husband love dressing their youngest baby boy up as the Pope for Halloween.
"Crazy Catholics that we are, my husband and I actually put the outfit together ourselves. No store-bought costume for our little guy!" Apparently the costume garnered loads of attention and even earned baby Augie first prize honors in a baby costume contest in New York.

During a US visit, Pope Francis spotted father Daniel Madden with his baby daughter, you guessed it - dressed as the Pope. Madden was at the papal parade on the Ben Franklin Parkway in Philadephia, USA with his wife Dana and baby daughter Quinn.
As Pope Francis rounded a corner in his Popemobile, he saw four-month-old Quinn and was clearly amused. You can watch what happens next above...

4. Yep, another one.
Here a woman holds her baby wearing a white skull cap at the end of Pope Francis weekly general audience at St Peter's square on September 30, 2015 at the Vatican.
Mum also appears to be dressed as a bride, or possibly a fairy but we have no idea what that's about.

5. This pope baby takes the biscuit.
See above as none other than US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama greet a baby dressed as the Pope and riding in its own 'Popemobile' as he hands out treats to children trick-or-treating for Halloween on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, DC, October 30, 2015.
