OUTSPOKEN Manchester Irish singer Morrissey has finally joined Twitter - and has already amassed over 50,000 followers.
The Irish Blood English Heart singer joined the social media site under the username @OfficialMoz with a verified account.
In his first tweet, posted just hours ago, the singer, 58, said: "Spent the day in bed..."

The tweet is a reference to his new single from his forthcoming album, Low in High School, which is scheduled for release on November 17.
The former Smiths frontman was born to Irish parents in Daveyhulme, Lancashire but grew up in Hulme in Manchester, later moving to Stretford.
Born Steven Patrick Morrissey, he has been outspoken in the past on topics such as animal rights, the monarchy and political leaders.
