A KILKENNY woman is being commended for her attempts to get to work during the harsh snowy weather.
Ann was due to go in for a shift as a care worker when the snow got in the way but she wasn't ready to let that stop her.
The hardy Irish woman she was, she decided to hitch a lift in the freezing cold of a tractor.
Some woman for one woman!
Tis my mam (Ann) off to work (Kilkenny)! She works in a local care home and nothing was going to stop her going in. Eddy my nieces dad is the taxi service 😁👏👍💚 Shout-out to the mammys all over Ireland today! Look @MarianKeyes 😁 #StormEmma #Snowmageddon #sneachtageddon #snow pic.twitter.com/9MgWyvWhs7

Anne's determination to get to work even reached the ears of the presenters of Loose Women, who talked about it as a segment on the show.
And will be thrilled to have been on #LooseWomen today 💚👍🚜🏆 pic.twitter.com/z0RpxQEUXC
