Noel Gallagher was in the audience to watch Co Cavan band The Strypes perform in London last week.
The former Oasis guitarist was among the crowd that in the city’s Old Blue Last on Thursday (January 23) to watch the recently-signed Irish band run through a short set.
The teenage band – who signed to Mercury Records last month – have amassed a string of famous admirers with Paul Weller, Elton John and Miles Kane also turning out at their British gigs.
All four members of The Strypes are aged between just 14 and 16 and they have appeared on RTÉ’s Late Late Show a number of times in the past year.
The Strypes play a string of British date this month and next.
