Mrs Brown's Boys scooped a prize for the third-year running at the National Television Awards in London on Wednesday night.
Brendan O’Carroll’s popular BBC series won Best Comedy, beating Benidorm, Outnumbered and The Big Bang Theory to the award.
The sitcom also won the award last year and was named Best Situation Comedy in 2013.
Creator and star O'Carroll said: "Once again we've emptied half the seats in the arena. I'd like to thank Ant and Dec for not doing comedy or sitcom.
"It's not easy but we've got a great lot of people behind us, including Tommy the security man in Glasgow (where it is filmed), and without him, we couldn't make the show."
Presenter Dermot O'Leary acknowledged the death earlier this week of Coronation Street actress Anne Kirkbride, who had played Deirdre in the ITV soap for more than 40 years.
O'Leary said: "We know you're going through a very difficult time. On behalf of everyone here, we're glad you've come. Thank you very much, guys."
