Love/Hate season four to be broadcast 'in three weeks'

THE hugely anticipated fourth season of RTÉ’s hit drama Love/Hate is set to be broadcast in Ireland early next month.

While no official confirmation has yet been made by RTÉ, it is understood that the new season will go to air on October 6.

This is about six weeks earlier than had been expected with all three previous series of the gangland drama broadcast in Ireland in mid-November.

British-based fans of the show - who have been following the Irish broadcasts - are expected to flock to pubs with RTÉ to keep up to date with the popular show.

In Britain, series one of the show only went to air last July with a second season due to be broadcast in January 2014 on Channel 5.

The forthcoming season, starring Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, is expected to slightly steer away from the gangland criminals to shed more light on the various detectives trying to bring the gangland thugs to justice.

A string of new faces will also be introduced to the cast list.

See next week's Ri-Ra in The Irish Post for an interview on L;ove/Hate with Killian Scott, who plays Tommy in the series.
