THE IRISH writer appeared on the couch with Ryan Tubridy to talk about her new book Almost Love and the upcoming referendum on the 8th amendment.
Louise O'Neill won herself many fans last night on Friday night's Late Late Show.
The 'Asking For It' author gave an impassioned speech on the 8th amendment and the importance of voting in the repealing of the 8th referendum on May 25th.

On a more light-hearted note, the author also got a surprise when Ryan Tubridy uncovered footage of her 12-year-old self reviewing the film "Michael Collins" on television.
"Oh my god, I hate you so much!" author @oneilllo more than slightly mortified by footage of her reviewing Michael Collins on Echo Island in her youth! #latelate pic.twitter.com/8XnvQ9leAS

The author's passion for feminist issues and activism for repealing the 8th amendment had people gushing about her appearance on the show.
After all the absolute bullshit of #loveboth, #savethe8th & John McGuirk over the last week & months, it's extremely refreshing to listen to Louise O'Neill on tonights #latelate. Time to #repealthe8th.

Louise O’Neill breathtakingly honest and insightful into what are the real feminist issues. Including the policing of female bodies and sexuality in this country #latelate
