What makes you laugh?
Anything from a baby farting to a well polished routine about babies farting.

When's the last time you really laughed?
Just last weekend at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs my cheeks are still sore.

What's the best joke you've ever heard?
My girlfriend makes me want to become a better person- so I can get a better girlfriend -Anthony Jeselnik

What made you get into comedy?
As soon as I realised anybody could give it a go I was curious and now I am hooked.

Who is your favourite comedian?
There are so many buy at the moment I would have to say Tommy Tiernan.

What's the most common misconception about comedians?
That we are always funny.

Any situations you just can’t find humour in?
I may not me able to find humour in everything but my brain will always check just incase.

How do you deal with hecklers?
Its never the same I either repeat what they say, ignore them or challenge them to a game of darts I send them to get the darts and security don’t let them back in.

What’s the strangest thing that’s ever happened to you at a gig?
I found out who my real father was while having some harmless banter with a punter. (I no longer do banter)

Do your friends and family think you are funny?
Absolutely NOT.

Is there a difference in UK/Irish humour?
In general they are pretty similar but Irish tend to prefer story telling where English like quick gags because they have no fecking patience :)

Should comedians have lines they don't cross? Do you?
The only line you shouldn’t cross is the line where it stops being funny.

What's your best personal comedy moment to date?
Supporting Bill Burr in Dublin.

What can we expect from your set at the London Irish comedy festival?
You can expect a great show from the brilliant Eleanor Tiernan and myself

Tell us a joke right now...
My girlfriend volunteers for child line where up to 50 per cent of the calls are prank phone calls and even people masturbating down the phone...that’s just wrong but its the only chance I get to talk to her :) - Chris Kent
